Virtual Reality Crime Solving
Collaboration to solve the case is a must in this VR Escape Game. Your team will discover the evidence and other hidden clues in the rooms, which will then lead you to the peak of the event. The hotel provides a virtual crime scene in which you will search through six different rooms and interact with various objects to solve the case. Will you be able to make it in time? Find out if your team can properly communicate to complete the missions. One member of each team will wear the VR goggle while everyone else will have other tools, further helping the investigation. But only when working together, the team will be able to find out who murdered Hermann Schuster.
How does it work?
‘Murder Mystery’ is played in groups of 4 to 6 people with the support of one VR goggle that can be swapped among participants between rounds. Everyone should be able to have a look at the virtual scene. The timer is set to 90 minutes in which the murderer should be found. This event is perfect during a dinner or as an entertainment session during a longer seminar or convention.
Team Take-Aways
To catch the killer your team must work out the riddles and puzzles together. The VR goggle plays an important part to gather information, yet there are also the physical objects which are crucial, too. To think outside the box is mandatory when working out the various clues, often requiring math, language or other specific knowledge. Every team member’s contribution counts.
Implementation
The VR Game ‘Murder Mystery’ is best played indoors. Each team needs its own table. The environment should be not too noisy, so the exchange of ideas and solutions can happen easily. It can be played in both languages, English and German.
Special Feature
We use modern Meta Quest 2 goggles and will explain how to use them in detail at the beginning of the event. The addition of a virtual scene provides an exciting aspect to your team building exercise.
Another interesting virtual escape game of our is ‘Beat the Hacker’ – Have a Look!
The special feature of “Murder Mystery” is the use of VR glasses. However, if you and your team would prefer to solve a murder mystery without VR glasses, we recommend taking a look at our “Summer crime thriller – murder is our hobby”.
